Pepe Meme Coin Trader Makes Over $1.7 Million in Profit
According to on-chain data from Lookonchain, a crypto trader who is known to favor meme coins has made a profit of 38,675% on a new meme coin called Pepe. The trader purchased four trillion of the Pepe meme coin at a price of 2.1 Ethereum, worth $4,410 at the time. A large portion of the four trillion Pepe was sold, and a balance of less than one trillion now remains, all resulting in combined realized and paper profits of over $1.705 million.
The trader discovered Pepe and spent 2.1 ETH to buy four trillion Pepe six hours after it was listed. After each price surge in Pepe, the trader sold part of the coin instead of selling all of them. In total, the trader sold 3.27 trillion Pepe for $906,000 and currently holds 700 billion Pepe worth $808,000.
Triple-digit Profits on Two Lesser-known Meme Coins
The trader who mostly transacts on the Ethereum blockchain has also made triple-digit profits on two other lesser-known meme coins, according to the on-chain data tracker Lookonchain. The trader has transactions on almost every chain, and 97% of their assets are on Ethereum. The trader bought BULL at $0.00075, which is now at $0.0045, an increase of 500%.
The trader also bought BABYPEPE at $0.00000000024, which is now at $0.00000000123, an increase of 415%.
