Econex Leads with Sustainable Urban Transit
Econex was at the forefront of innovation, winning the £4,500 top award for their ground-breaking plan to restructure urban transportation networks. Econex’s CleanCommuteCoins (CCCs) promote eco-friendly commuting to minimize carbon emissions and promote a greener future.
Not far behind, VeDrive won second place and a £3,000 prize with a dApp meant to encourage eco-friendly and safe driving habits.VeDrive evaluates and rewards safe driving with mobile data and telematics. This reduces road accidents and improves vehicle safety.
VeDrive is unique because it connects insurers, governments, and other stakeholders to create safer, greener roads.
Third-place winner Zenvolt won £2,000 for their innovative use of sustainable delivery to support the gig economy. Zenvolt joins with Uber to certify and reward eco-friendly delivery methods on VeChain’s blockchain, helping gig workers reach net-zero goals while improving transparency and efficiency.
And it doesn’t stop there; VEEV sets itself apart by giving owners of electric vehicles (EVs) the option to choose renewable energy sources that are blockchain-validated.
