Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse expressed his confidence in Ripple’s victory in the ongoing Ripple v. SEC lawsuit during the XRP Las Vegas 2023 meetup. The CEO made the statement in front of a crowd of XRP supporters, saying
“We’re going to win this thing.”
Garlinghouse later took to Twitter to express his appreciation for the support of the XRP community, thanking them for their continued support throughout the ongoing legal battle.

Ripple’s ongoing lawsuit
Ripple has been in a legal battle with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) since December 2020 over whether XRP is a security or not. The SEC’s lawsuit alleges that Ripple and its executives sold XRP as an unregistered security, resulting in investors losing money.
