Zonafide Dapp protecting indentity

Zonafide, a new Dapp that’s aiming to prevent identity theft, is in its “working prototype” stage of development.

Their Ideology

As victims of identity theft themselves back in 2013, the Zonafide team Paul and Salena Worrall, started this Dapp to act as a preventative measure against this type of fraud.

How does it work?

Zonafide is simply a social and professional network that is used to prevent identity theft. Users can set up ‘Zones of Trust’ which is a group of people within the users’ social circle that they trust. This can range from personal to professional relationships. The ‘Zone of Trust’ group acts as a verifier for service providers to make sure a user did indeed want to open a new account or create a new insurance plan.

“To benefit from the protection of a Zone of Trust, you have to create your zone and start building trust in it. Service Providers are then able to check and verify that an action being carried out in your name is indeed legitimate.”

Zonafide Applications

Newlywed Name Change- Quick and secure record updates after marriage.

Vulnerable People- Trusted Zones protect users who care for friends or family members that are usually taken advantage of.

Bereavements- Trusted Zones aid those dealing with loss and with administering their affairs.

Your Social Network is the Solution

We are working to:

Enable people to look out for each other

Make a proven security technology easy for everyone to use

Make it quick and easy to verify that activities are legitimate
