Strategy has added another major tranche of Bitcoin to its balance sheet, reinforcing its position as the world’s largest corporate holder of the asset.
According to Executive Chairman Michael Saylor, the company acquired 10,645 BTC for approximately $980.3 million, paying an average price of $92,098 per Bitcoin. The purchase marks one of Strategy’s largest single additions in 2025 and continues its aggressive treasury accumulation strategy during a period of elevated market prices.
Following the transaction, Strategy reported a Bitcoin Yield of 24.9% year-to-date, a proprietary performance metric the company uses to measure Bitcoin accumulation relative to share dilution and capital structure changes. The figure highlights how the firm continues to grow its Bitcoin exposure despite operating in a higher-price environment.

Total Holdings Reach 671,268 Bitcoin
As of December 14, 2025, Strategy now holds 671,268 BTC in total. The company disclosed that these holdings were acquired for an aggregate cost of approximately $50.33 billion, translating to an average purchase price of $74,972 per Bitcoin.
This scale of accumulation places Strategy in a category of its own among publicly traded companies. Its Bitcoin reserves exceed those of many national treasuries and institutional investment vehicles, underscoring the firm’s long-term conviction in Bitcoin as a strategic reserve asset rather than a short-term trade.
Saylor’s disclosure also reiterated that Strategy’s Bitcoin strategy is executed across multiple corporate instruments, including common stock and several preferred offerings. These vehicles are designed to provide different forms of Bitcoin-linked exposure while funding continued accumulation.
Long-Term Conviction Remains Unchanged
The latest purchase signals that Strategy’s approach has not shifted despite Bitcoin trading near cycle highs. Instead of slowing accumulation, the company continues to deploy capital systematically, prioritizing long-term ownership over timing considerations.
Market participants often view Strategy’s purchases as a proxy for institutional confidence, particularly during periods when traditional asset managers reduce exposure due to volatility or macro uncertainty. By maintaining consistent buying behavior, Strategy reinforces its thesis that Bitcoin functions as a superior long-duration store of value.
With more than 671,000 BTC now on its balance sheet and a rising year-to-date Bitcoin Yield, Strategy’s treasury strategy remains one of the most closely watched indicators in the corporate Bitcoin landscape.
