  • Shibarium’s Beta Testnet, Puppynet, impressively exceeds 30 million transactions, marking a 17% increase in just two weeks.
  • Alongside growing transactions, Puppynet also reports a significant increase in the number of wallets, reaching 17 million.

Shibarium, a layer-2 solution, has witnessed substantial growth with its Beta Testnet, known as Puppynet. The network’s performance over the past fortnight has been remarkable, recording a 17% surge in the total number of transactions processed, breaking through the 30 million transaction milestone.

Puppynet’s Rapid Transaction Acceleration

Recent data from Puppynet’s monitoring platform, Puppyscan, confirms the network’s success, handling over 30.24 million transactions. This statistic signifies a 17% increase compared to the figures recorded on June 30th, with transaction counts at 25.68 million. With an average block time of 5 seconds, Puppynet continues to showcase its efficiency and speed in transaction processing.

Puppynet’s beta version has also demonstrated significant progress in block processing. The number of processed blocks is nearing 1.8 million, currently sitting at 1.72 million – a 15% rise compared to the 1.49 million blocks processed on June 30th.

A surge in new wallets created over the past two weeks is another feather in Puppynet’s cap. A substantial addition of 54,411 wallets brings the total number of addresses connected to Shibarium’s beta on Puppynet to an impressive 17.06 million.

This surge in network activity comes at an opportune time as Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of SHIB, confirms the much-anticipated launch of the Shibarium Mainnet. This event is set to take place at the forthcoming Blockchain Futurist Conference scheduled for August 15th and 16th.

Notably, Shiba Inu has acquired the prestigious title sponsorship for the event, as reported by The Crypto Basic. Adding to the momentum, the Shiba Inu team has concluded the intake form submissions for Shibarium, indicating active preparations for its mainnet launch. This flurry of activities provides a glimpse of what’s on the horizon, and the future seems bright for the Shibarium network.
