- Shibarium’s transaction count rockets to over 2.5 million, with a 24.66% surge in less than three days.
- Users have staked an impressive 27.12 million BONE tokens on the network.
Drawing from data sourced from the Shibarium explorer and its record of Daily transactions, Shibarium, the Layer-2 blockchain of Shiba Inu, has been making waves in the crypto space recently.
Rapid Growth in Shibarium’s Transaction Count
In a noteworthy development, the transaction count on Shibarium crossed the 2.5 million mark, currently resting at 2,562,586. What makes this achievement particularly striking is the fact that it comes hot on the heels of the platform reaching the 2 million milestone just three days prior. Within a mere 72-hour window, the platform saw a growth spurt of 24.66%, adding 562,586 transactions.
Daily Transactions Maintain Strong Momentum
Delving deeper into daily figures, Shibarium has maintained an average of around 200K transactions daily. Shibariumscan data indicates that on September 11th, the Layer-2 network witnessed a high of 202.94K transactions. Even though there was a slight dip to 195.76K the next day, the transactions are still holding strong, currently measured at 200.88K.
Shibarium’s Other Achievements
Beyond transaction numbers, Shibarium has been excelling in various other metrics as well. Wallet addresses on the platform have reached 1,245,826, while the total block count stands at 626,769. To provide a comparison, just a day before, on September 12th, these figures were at 1,125,968 wallet addresses and 588,356 total blocks, respectively.
Surge in BONE Tokens Staking
Shibarium’s offerings extend beyond just transactions and blocks. There’s been a remarkable uptick in the number of Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) tokens being staked on the platform, exceeding the 27 million mark. Presently, users have staked 27,121,444.5379 BONE tokens, which translates to a value of $22.51 million. It’s also notable that these tokens are spread across the platform’s 12 available validators, with Unification leading the pack, holding 5.33 million BONE tokens.
Furthermore, since its public reintroduction on August 28, Shibarium has garnered widespread adoption. This successful relaunch came after the platform had previously entered a fail-safe mode shortly post its initial launch. The Shibarium team, however, has since rectified the technical setbacks, ensuring a seamless experience for users since its public comeback.
