Video-sharing platform Rumble is preparing to launch a Bitcoin tipping feature for creators, marking a major step toward crypto-powered monetization. The initiative comes through a new partnership with Tether, the issuer of the world’s largest stablecoin, and aims to give creators greater independence from traditional payment platforms.
Strategic Partnership and Timeline
The announcement, made by Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski and Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino at the Plan ₿ Forum in Lugano, Switzerland, confirms that the feature is currently in beta testing and is expected to roll out by mid-December 2025. The move follows Tether’s $775 million strategic investment in Rumble in late 2024, solidifying the companies’ collaboration to build financial freedom tools for online creators.

During the presentation, Rumble demonstrated the feature by sending the first-ever Bitcoin tip to a content creator on its platform, underscoring the project’s readiness for public use.
Native Rumble Wallet Powered by MoonPay
At the core of the new system is a native Rumble crypto wallet, developed in partnership with MoonPay. The non-custodial wallet will allow users to buy, hold, and send digital assets directly from the Rumble app.
Key benefits include:
- Full asset control: Creators retain private key ownership.
- Lower fees: Bitcoin transfers will cost less than traditional systems like PayPal or Stripe.
- Instant transactions: Faster payments could significantly boost creator earnings.
Rumble’s Broader Crypto Ambitions
The tipping feature fits into Rumble’s broader decentralized finance (DeFi) strategy. The company has been accumulating Bitcoin on its balance sheet, reportedly holding around $25 million in BTC as of Q2 2025. By embedding cryptocurrency into its ecosystem, Rumble hopes to attract creators seeking uncensored and direct monetization models outside the influence of mainstream payment networks.
Market Outlook
Despite the innovation, Rumble’s stock remains under pressure, down over 45% year-to-date, though the Bitcoin tipping announcement briefly lifted investor sentiment. Executives are optimistic that the integration of Tether, MoonPay, and crypto-native payments, alongside recent partnerships like Perplexity AI, could spark a new growth phase for the company.
As the rollout approaches, Rumble’s Bitcoin tipping system could redefine how creators earn, bridging social media and decentralized finance in a way no mainstream platform has yet achieved.
