In a landmark collaboration, Polygon Labs and NEAR Protocol have announced the development of zkWASM, a pioneering solution set to revolutionize Web Assembly (WASM) based blockchains. zkWASM, or zero-knowledge Web Assembly, is poised to be a market-leading ZK prover for WASM blockchains. Polygon Chain Development Kit (CDK), an open-source framework for launching ZK-powered Layer 2 chains on Ethereum, will feature zkWASM as one of its three available provers.
