- Layer One Joint Task Force (L1JTF) returns 344 million unused LUNC tokens from Q3 2023, contributing to Terra Luna Classic’s community pool.
- L1JTF enters Q4 2023 in maintenance mode, with a focus on fixing prevalent bugs and supporting governance-approved logic changes in the Terra Luna Classic blockchain.
The Terra Luna Classic (LUNC) ecosystem, despite previous setbacks, is on the path of recovery, with the Layer One Joint Task Force (L1JTF) taking the lead in this resurrection journey. This pivotal group of core developers within the LUNC community is working tirelessly to restore stability and functionality to the platform.
Vinh Nguyen, the squad leader of L1JTF, has made a public commitment to address the persistent bugs affecting the Terra Luna Classic ecosystem. In a recent announcement, Nguyen revealed that the group had returned 344 million LUNC tokens, initially allocated for Q3 2023, back to the community pool. These funds, now available for future development tasks, have further enriched the LUNC community pool, taking its holdings to 2.12 billion LUNC tokens and 6.1 million Terra Classic USD (USTC).
L1JTF: A Beacon of Maintenance and Development
Entering the final quarter of 2023, L1JTF has transitioned into maintenance mode, spanning from October to January 2024. During this period, the team is set to embark on a series of critical tasks aimed at bolstering the Terra Luna Classic ecosystem.
One of the top priorities for L1JTF is resolving the prevalent issues associated with Astroport, a leading decentralized exchange operating on the Terra Classic blockchain. In addition to this, the team will tackle technical chain issues and support the implementation of pull requests for governance-approved Layer 1 logic changes.
These comprehensive efforts underscore L1JTF’s unwavering commitment to restoring trust and functionality to the Terra Luna Classic ecosystem. Furthermore, the team is simultaneously laying down the groundwork for the upcoming year, with a roadmap being prepared in the current quarter.
In response to inquiries from the community, represented by Aru Basu, a full-stack blockchain developer and active member, Nguyen assured that the team’s activities and plans for the future are well in place, setting a positive tone for Terra Luna Classic’s journey ahead. With L1JTF at the helm, the ecosystem is poised to navigate through its challenges, aiming for stability and innovation in the blockchain space.
