IC3 & the Ethereum Foundation Create Crypto Boot Camp
Toward the end of July, from the 20th to the 28th, IC3 is putting on a weeklong Ethereum Crypto Boot Camp! For any open-source developers, or blockchain novices and experts who want to learn, contribute, or advance smart contract solutions, this boot camp is the perfect opportunity to do so.
Those who attend this immersive coding and learning experience will have the opportunity to be under the tutelage of some of the greatest minds in the industry, including Vitalik Buterin, the founder of the Ethereum technology. They will also work with a development team on a weeklong project led by a smart contract expert, and attend daily keynote presentations by blockchain experts.
IC3 is a group of faculty members from universities such as Cornell Tech, Cornell University, UC Berkeley, UIUC, and Technion. Based at the Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute at Cornell Tech in NYC, the IC3 collaborates with domain experts in finance and banking, entrepreneurs, regulators, and open source software communities to move blockchain-based solutions from their conceptual phase to a reliable financial system or product.
This Ethereum and Crypto boot camp will be held at Gates Hall, Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Attendees will build Ethereum applications, build a fair multi-player lottery game, and also participate in fun and “clear your head” activities such as: periodic group excursions to local gorges, parks, lakes and other points of interest.
Qualifying Cornell students may also be eligible for free access to this completely circumferential and innovative boot camp. For more information on participants and keynote speakers, access, and industry sponsorship, check out their website.
