- Evernode has completed the registration for the Evers airdrop, with 38,478 XRP addresses participating out of 432 million eligible addresses.
- The next steps involve collating addresses, calculating Evers distribution based on the September 1st snapshot, and using an Airdrop Hook for distribution.
Evernode’s Evers Airdrop: A Critical Update for XRP Holders
Evernode, a layer-2 protocol on the XRP Ledger, recently concluded the registration phase for its much-anticipated Evers airdrop. This development marks a significant milestone for the XRP community, who have been eagerly participating in the event.
Registration Phase Completion
The registration for the Evers airdrop, which began post the November 27 timeline update, officially closed on December 11 at 6:00 p.m. AEDT. The number of XRP addresses that engaged in the registration process reached 38,478, a fraction of the total 432 million qualifying XRP addresses and 2.039 billion XRP addresses on exchanges. This registration followed the airdrop snapshot conducted by Evernode on September 1st to determine the qualifying XRP addresses. Notably, two exchanges, Bitrue and Uphold, supported this initiative.
Airdrop Registration Finished
* Addresses: 38,478
* Exchanges: 2 (Bitrue & Uphold)
* Qualifying XRP:

Next Steps in the Airdrop Process
With the registration phase now complete, Evernode’s focus shifts to the upcoming stages of the airdrop. The process involves importing or cloning users’ XRPL r-addresses onto Xahau and setting a trustline for the Evers issuing address. Evernode will now proceed to collate all the registered addresses, tally the balances, and calculate the distribution of Evers in proportion to the qualifying XRP held in each address based on the September 1st snapshot.
A total of 5,160,960 Evers will be distributed using an Airdrop Hook to the r-addresses on Xahau. The distribution will be proportional to the share of qualifying XRP held in each corresponding r-address on the XRPL. Evernode has indicated that the targeted launch date for the Evers airdrop is December 18, when the Evers will be deposited into the Airdrop Hook, the address of which will be published at that time.
Special Considerations for Exchange Customers
Customers of the participating exchanges, Bitrue and Uphold, will experience a different process. Evers for these users will be calculated and sent separately on the launch date, with the exchanges responsible for distributing the Evers to their customers’ accounts.
Evernode emphasizes that XUMM is the only wallet that will support all functions necessary to claim the Evers airdrop, with a Xahau update expected to be released soon.
In summary, Evernode’s Evers airdrop registration has successfully concluded, marking an exciting phase for XRP holders involved in the process. As Evernode prepares for the distribution of Evers, the XRP community awaits the next steps in this innovative event, signaling an important moment in the adoption and utility of the XRP Ledger and its associated protocols.
