Ethereum ETFs See Mixed Flows as BlackRock Faces $101M Outflow While Grayscale Gains

Ethereum ETFs experienced a mixed trading session on October 24, 2025, according to new data from SosoValue, as capital rotated between major issuers amid muted overall sentiment.

The standout move came from BlackRock’s Ethereum ETF (ETHA), which recorded a significant $100.99 million outflow, marking one of the largest single-day redemptions since early September.

Despite this, Grayscale’s Ethereum Trust (ETH) provided a counterbalance, registering a $7.4 million inflow, suggesting selective accumulation by institutional investors seeking to capitalize on recent price dips. Grayscale’s other product, ETHE, remained stable with no notable flow, though it traded at a +0.05% premium, indicating slight buying demand in secondary markets.

Other issuers, including Fidelity (FETH), VanEck (ETHV), Bitwise (ETHW), and Invesco (QETH), all saw neutral flows, showing that investors largely paused activity following a volatile trading week. VanEck’s ETF was the only one trading at a discount (-0.08%), hinting at weaker short-term sentiment among some retail participants.

Analysts note that while BlackRock’s sharp outflow may appear concerning, it likely reflects portfolio rebalancing rather than a shift in long-term conviction.

Overall, Ethereum ETF performance remains steady, with the combined market continuing to attract institutional attention ahead of expected developments around Ethereum staking derivatives and Layer-2 adoption trends in Q4 2025.

If inflows regain momentum next week, particularly among major issuers like Grayscale and Fidelity, Ethereum’s ETF segment could once again reinforce its status as the second-largest digital asset investment vehicle after Bitcoin.
