Ethereum ETFs See $175 Million in Daily Outflows as Market Sentiment Weakens

Ethereum spot ETFs saw significant redemptions on October 10, posting total net outflows of $175 million, according to SoSoValue data.

All nine U.S.-listed funds recorded zero inflows during the session, signaling a sharp shift in institutional sentiment.

BlackRock’s ETHA led the outflows, with $80.19 million withdrawn, the largest single-day redemption across all Ethereum ETFs. Fidelity’s FETH and Grayscale’s ETHE each followed closely with $30 million in outflows, while Bitwise’s ETHW lost $21.58 million. Other issuers, including VanEck, Franklin, 21Shares, and Invesco, also ended the day flat with no new inflows reported.

Bitcoin spot ETFs fared slightly better, seeing a modest $4.5 million in total outflows. BlackRock’s IBIT was the only fund to register a net inflow, highlighting continued divergence in institutional appetite between Bitcoin and Ethereum products.

Analysts noted that the outflows come amid broader market caution and heightened volatility across digital assets. They also emphasized that while Ethereum ETFs had enjoyed strong interest in prior weeks, recent redemptions suggest a short-term cooling of investor confidence.
