The Unique “Citizen Pass” NFT

The Citizen Pass, proclaimed as “the ultimate digital ID for the fictional LEVEL UP City”, is a special kind of NFT, bringing manifold benefits to its holders. The issuance of this pass on the Cardano blockchain marks the second consecutive year for Project “LEVEL UP” in this endeavour. As per NMKR, the unique NFTs have already found owners, promising exclusive privileges to holders during the Salzburg conference.

The Citizen Pass was available to only a privileged hundred, including users who successfully completed at least 14 quests of the LEVEL UP Challenge. The NFTs were divided into three different classes: 60 Normal Class 1 IDs, 30 Rare Class 2 IDs, and 10 Legendary Class 3 IDs. Each ID boasts a unique address, an occupation, and potentially a healthcare contract, offering a diverse range of attributes to its holders.

Rising Adoption of Cardano

Cardano, conceived by Charles Hoskinson, continues to experience remarkable growth in 2023, even amidst the SEC’s allegations against its native token ADA being an unregistered security. The widespread adoption is especially noticeable in the significant surge of the total value locked (TVL) in ADA, which saw a 148% increase between January and June 2023, outpacing any other network.

Furthermore, the interest in ADA from several institutions, including Grayscale, Wisdom Tree, and 21Shares, showcases the widening acceptance and potential of the Cardano blockchain. This collaboration between NMKR and “LEVEL UP” not only exemplifies Cardano’s expansion in the NFT sphere but also strengthens its position as a burgeoning blockchain ecosystem.
