BONE, the native token of the leading decentralized exchange (DEX) on the Shiba Inu network, Bone Shibaswap, made headlines this week for surpassing Bitcoin and Ethereum. The token is also slated to serve as the gas token for the soon-to-be-introduced layer-2 solution, Shibarium.

The influencer disclosed that the Shiba Inu ecosystem, currently made up of BONE, LEASH, and SHIB, is set to experience substantial growth in the coming months. Hundreds of projects are expected to join the ecosystem following the Shibarium mainnet launch. “There will be hundreds of projects, not just one or two, but many! The more, the better,” she added.
Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer, revealed that the mainnet launch of the layer-2 scaling solution is closer than expected. The testnet of Shibarium has already achieved significant milestones regarding total transactions and connected wallet addresses.
